Academy
He was teased as a academy student. He was beat up and pushed aside, then one day a young girl that was one of his classmates started to show him compassion. Her name was Sakura Uchiha and she was the only one to show him attention.
Genin & Chunnin
As a genin he was assigned the same team as Sakura and he would spend all his time with her so they became the best of friends. During the chunnin exams Shin unlocked all 3 levels of his Sharingan. He then moved on to taking the Jounin exams.
Elite Jounin
After passing the jounin exams he was chosen to be an Elite jounin, he continued to train with Sakura and do missions with her. One day while in the land of Fire, Shin was doing a mission with Sakura. They were attacked and the enemy stole the body of Sakura forcing Shin to do the unspeakable. Shin was forced into killing Sakura to save her from the enemies control. This action unleashed the mangekyou sharingan that lay dormant inside Shin.
Mizukage
He was eventually chosen to be Mizukage, which is where we find Shin now.

Personality: He possesses incredible control of his emotions, constantly displaying an emotionless personality. He only shows surprise when opponents proved more powerful or skilled than expected, and even then doesn't lose his composure.
